2018 Diversity Breakfast

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Roger Cleveland back to the EKU Campus as our keynote speaker at the 11th annual diversity breakfast. Dr. Cleveland is a Professor, School of Education and the Director of the CREED Center (Center for Research on the Eradication of Educational Disparities) at Kentucky State University.
Cleveland, an EKU faculty member 2008-2018, is nationally known for his work in the areas of diversity, instructional equity, cultural competency, closing achievement gaps, learning styles, transforming school culture and school improvement planning, among other areas of expertise. He is frequently sought to conduct staff development and workshops for schools and school districts, state educational agencies and universities, and social service agencies.
Dr. Cleveland holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Morehead State University, a master’s degree in sociology of education from Union College, and a doctoral degree in educational foundations (with a concentration on social and cultural foundations of education) from the University of Cincinnati.
