EKU Ranks in Top 15 Best Value for Dyslexic Students

Eastern Kentucky University’s Center for Student Accessibility is the home of Project SUCCESS, a comprehensive initiative designed to accommodate the needs of differently-abled students. In particular, features like academic coaching, individualized tutoring, and focus groups help establish a robust social and intellectual support network for undergrads with divergent learning styles. EKU also offers general disability services that will appeal specifically to those with dyslexia, including note taking services, assistive reading and writing technology, and test accommodations.

EKU Ranks in Top 2 Percent

EKU Diversity Office

As a 2017 INSIGHT Into Diversity Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award recipient, EKU ranks in the top 2 percent of schools nationwide for its diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.  EKU has been invited to the invitation-only 2018 HEED Award Summit.  The university will be represented by Dr. Timothy Forde, Vice Provost for Diversity and Chief Diversity Officer, at the inaugural event to be held at University of Houston in June of this year.
